A wonderful place for the lovers of fabric and all things quilting, embroidery, knitting and crochet. Renovated by maximizing every use of space. Subtly divided into stages for purchasing, knitting/socializing and classes. Sustainability was an important requirement as we reuse and convert existing product displays. For visual appeal, displays were converted into diamond shaped shelving for all types of wool. For cohesion, the same diamond shape was produced as a series to display recent work by students from the classes. All existing product displays are pronounced with a painted warm tone of white. You are drawn into the exuberant colours of the fabrics, wool & threads, leaving you to browse amongst this colourful experience. We center the social hub with a modern dining suite, allowing customers to work on current projects with others. We disguise the bathroom at the back of the shop by making a fabric stain glass door. Cleverly presenting latest fabrics to act as the removable ‘glass’ panels. A beautiful petite shop with a large range to offer and a lot of joy from the staff.
